At RubberCon 2026, TRATON presented the potential of Reselo Rubber to some of Europe’s leading experts in rubber materials, building on the development work and collaboration that began with Scania. RubberCon is one of Europe’s leading conferences for the rubber and elastomer industry, bringing together researchers, material suppliers, manufacturers, and industry experts to discuss the latest developments in rubber technology and applications. The 2026 edition was held in Paris, France, under the theme “Ecodesign and Rubber Innovation.”
“It’s exciting to present a completely new rubber polymer to Europe’s leading experts in rubber materials,” said Martin Bellander, Technical Manager, Elastomers at TRATON.
The presentation highlighted the opportunities that Reselo Rubber offers the industry. Interest from the audience was evident throughout the session with attendees keen to capture key slides and continue discussions long after the presentation had ended. The questions that followed reflected a strong desire to better understand the material and its potential applications and covered everything from low-temperature performance to processing and formulation considerations, with participants learning how Reselo Rubber compares to and complements existing rubber technologies. The engagement demonstrated a genuine curiosity about how novel, more sustainable polymers can be integrated into future better rubber applications.
For Reselo, being platformed at RubberCon is an opportunity not only to showcase the material’s progress but also to learn directly with experts whose questions and insights help drive the adoption of new technologies across the rubber industry. Thanks to Martin Bellander for including us in your presentation, pioneering new materials require collaborations and partnerships like ours!
